    SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

    Delivery instructions

    Vdecor delivers products to most of the countries. Please provide us the delivery address where the delivery can be done during normal business hours from Monday to Friday.

    Ensure you left clear delivery instructions in “Special Delivery Instructions” area of the checkout. Should you delivery address have restricted access you must notify us, so that special arrangements can be made if necessary. We reserve the right to charge for any additional freight costs involved with making or fulfilling any special delivery arrangements.

    Where it is possible please state “Authority to Leave” and our currier will leave the item of sight should you not be at home and he feels the item will be secure.

    Delivery costs

    The cost of postage and handling for products from our website vary widely depending on the size and weight of the items your order and your location. To see what your shipping costs will be, simply add the items to your cart, scroll down and you will see the Shipping Calculator. Just fill in the form click the “ESTIMATE” button and the shipping cost will appear.

    Delivery charges are generated automatically based on standard delivery to the front door at the ground level of the delivery address you provide at the time of submitting order.

    In some cases, for rural postcodes, if your order needs to be packed in multiple packages, your order is otherwise unusually bulky or some other reasons, our online postage calculator may not be able to accurately calculate your shipping charges. These instances are rare but should this arise, we will get in touch with you to discuss this and will give you the option to pay additional charges or cancel your order with a full refund or store credit.

    Requests for non-standard delivery, or to delivery to an address other than specified in your order, are at our carrier’s discretion and may incur additional charges.

    Delivery times

    We dispatch daily and most orders are processed within 1-3 working days after the order is received, depending on volume of orders in the system.

    The delivery time depend on your location, weight, size and type of product you have ordered. In most cases we expect delivery to be complete within 10-28 working days of placement of your order depending on where you live. More detailed time you will receive in the email we send after dispatching your order. 

    Items which are custom-made may take longer to dispatch depending on the time takes to produce the customized item. In this occasion we will contact you to discuss the time frame of the delivering the order.

    Receipt of delivery

    To ensure that your items are delivered safely to your delivery address we advise to have someone there to be able to sign for the goods. Your contact details and phone numbers are passed onto our logistic companies and they are requested to contact you in advance to advise of the anticipated date and approximate time of delivery.
    Vdecor does everything possible to request that the logistic company contacts you in advance, but unfortunately we cannot be held responsible if they do not facilitate such a contact.

    We will have your purchase delivered using various carriers, some of National Posts may leave a card at your address and you will need to pick up the delivery from your nearest post office.

    When you receive your order please unpack and check the product(s) for any faults or damages. If you have any concerns you must make the appropriate notes on the delivery cart note before signing it and ask the driver to initial your remarks. If possible, please take a photo of the fault or damage immediately following the delivery.

    You must notify Vdecor of any faulty or damaged goods within 48 hours of receipt of the goods by email [email protected]. Once we have received your advice of any faulty or damaged goods we will contact you with the options to resolve the issue. Please refer to the Refunds & Returns Policy section for more information.

    Unless you have given a pre-arranged “Authority to Leave”, if there is nobody to sign for the goods when they are delivered by a general carrier they may leave a missed delivery advice card in your letter box advising of the failed delivery.  The goods will then be returned to their local depot and you will then need to make contact with the freight carrier directly to arrange an appropriate time for a redelivery.

    A redelivery fee may occur if the customer is not at home when delivery is attempted. It is important that you arrange a delivery time when you are sure to be at home to avoid any redelivery fees.

    You are responsible for providing us with the correct delivery address. If you provide an incorrect address as a result we are unable to successfully deliver your order to you after 28 days or 2 delivery attempts (whichever occurs sooner) we reserve the right to charge you any additional redelivery fees or cancel your order. To avoid this please make sure you have provided the correct address and contact details as we may use this information to contact you in the event we are unable to deliver your order.

    Arranging Collection Yourself

    You may arrange with us in advance of placing your order to collect the goods directly from our warehouse personally or using your own agent or carrier. If you do so, you (or your agent or carrier) must inspect the goods prior the collecting and loading them and may be required to sign an acknowledgment that such goods are in good order. You agree that we are not responsible for any damage which might occur after the time of collection.

    Risk in goods

    All risk in supplied products will pass from us to you at the time of delivery to you or if you (or your agent or carrier) collects the product directly from one of our warehouses.

    We reserve the right to refuse delivery to specific locations for items we deem at high risk of loss or damage, and also areas that are inaccessible with standard courier and delivery services. In this case, you may choose to have an item delivered using your own couriers, in which case all insurance for loss or damage to the order caused by the delivery will be your responsibility.
